SynaXG, a global leader in AI-powered radio access networks (RAN), and Tech Mahindra (NSE: TECHM), a top technology consulting and digital solutions provider, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to co-develop AI-native, software-defined, and energy-efficient wireless network solutions.
The collaboration aims to merge SynaXG’s cutting-edge RAN software, AI-RAN intelligence platform, and hyper-converged wireless architectures with Tech Mahindra’s deep experience in multi-vendor network deployments and enterprise-grade digital transformation. Together, the companies are targeting telecom operators and enterprises seeking a smoother path to AI-native 5G-Advanced and 6G networks capable of autonomous sensing, learning, and optimization.
The partnership focuses on co-innovation, integration, and commercialization of AI-enhanced RAN solutions that boost network performance, spectrum efficiency, and energy savings. It also promotes open, modular, and interoperable network designs—covering AI-RAN and O-RAN frameworks—across both public and private deployments.
“As networks evolve toward higher levels of autonomy, AI-native RAN architectures will become foundational,” said Abhishek Malhotra, Global Business Head, Network Services, Tech Mahindra. “Through this collaboration with SynaXG, we are combining advanced RAN innovation with our global network services capabilities to help customers deploy open, intelligent, and future-ready networks built for the 5G-Advanced and 6G era.”
By integrating SynaXG’s AI-RAN software into Tech Mahindra’s services portfolio, the duo aims to support private networks and industry-specific deployments in manufacturing, logistics, smart cities, and critical infrastructure. The combination of AI-native technology with Tech Mahindra’s global delivery scale promises faster time-to-market and broader commercial reach across operators, enterprises, and emerging digital ecosystems.
“AI-RAN represents a fundamental shift in how wireless networks are designed, deployed, and operated,” said Mantosh Malhotra, Chief Business Officer, SynaXG. “Working with Tech Mahindra allows us to bring AI-native RAN technology to market through a globally proven integration and deployment ecosystem. Together, we aim to accelerate the transition to intelligent, energy-efficient, and open wireless networks across both operator and enterprise environments.”
The partnership signals a larger industry trend: telecom operators and enterprise networks are increasingly moving toward AI-driven, energy-conscious architectures. As 5G-Advanced and 6G technologies take shape, collaborations like this could set the benchmark for network automation, interoperability, and real-time intelligence—pushing the telecom sector closer to fully autonomous operations.
