Bitzero Holdings Inc., the sustainable blockchain and HPC data center operator, is taking its first step into AI compute operations. The company announced the acquisition of eight NVIDIA Blackwell B300 servers, totaling 64 GPUs, for deployment at its low-carbon Namsskogan, Norway facility in partnership with Hydra Host.
The deployment, expected to complete in Q1 2026, marks a strategic pivot for Bitzero—from a traditional infrastructure provider to a compute operator offering GPU capacity for AI workloads.
Pilot Program: Testing the Waters of Neocloud
The initial deployment is structured as a pilot program to validate GPU operations on Bitzero’s existing infrastructure. Key details include:
- 8 air-cooled NVIDIA Blackwell B300 servers
- 64 GPUs based on NVIDIA’s latest Blackwell architecture
- Namsskogan, Norway low-carbon data center deployment
The pilot aims to establish operational frameworks and performance benchmarks, laying the foundation for potential future expansion of Bitzero’s GPU compute capabilities.
Hydra Host Partnership: Access Without the Overhead
Bitzero will leverage Hydra Host’s Brokkr platform for distribution, lifecycle management, and provisioning. This partnership allows Bitzero to monetize its GPU infrastructure without building proprietary customer-facing platforms or enterprise acquisition channels.
Hydra Host’s global network connects AI-native customers and enterprise users directly to Bitzero’s compute resources, effectively turning its Norway facility into a neocloud GPU-as-a-service node.
Strategic Implications
“This GPU deployment represents a strategic milestone for Bitzero,” said Mohammed Bakhashwain, President and CEO. “We are transitioning from pure infrastructure provider to compute operator. By deploying cutting-edge Blackwell GPUs at our Norway site and partnering with Hydra Host for distribution, we are positioning the Company to generate revenue from AI workloads directly—not just from power and space.”
The move positions Bitzero in a growing market for sustainable, high-performance AI compute, where low-carbon operations and ready-to-market distribution are increasingly valued. By combining environmentally friendly infrastructure with NVIDIA’s latest GPU technology, Bitzero can attract AI developers, researchers, and enterprise clients seeking green GPU compute capacity.
Neocloud Operations: A Forward-Looking Play
Bitzero’s deployment reflects the broader neocloud trend, where companies monetize idle or underutilized data center resources as AI-ready infrastructure. The pilot’s results will likely determine how quickly Bitzero scales its GPU fleet and expands into additional AI compute offerings.
As AI workloads demand more energy-efficient and geographically diverse data center options, Bitzero’s Norway site—with renewable energy and modern cooling—could become a competitive asset in the rapidly expanding GPU cloud market.
