Identity data may not grab headlines like generative AI, but it’s quickly becoming the backbone of enterprise AI strategy. At the upcoming Gartner Data & Analytics Summit 2026, identity intelligence firm Verato plans to make that case loud and clear.
The company announced it will host multiple thought leadership sessions and showcase its Verato MDM Cloud platform during the conference, which runs March 9–11 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center.
As organizations across healthcare, finance, and retail rush to deploy AI-driven automation and analytics, Verato argues that fragmented identity data remains a major obstacle—one that can quietly derail even the most sophisticated AI initiatives.
Identity: The Missing Layer in Many AI Strategies
Many enterprises still struggle with duplicate records, fragmented customer data, and inconsistent identity resolution across systems.
That problem becomes far more serious when AI models rely on those records for insights or automation.
Verato’s platform focuses on identity resolution and master data management (MDM)—the process of ensuring that enterprise data accurately reflects real individuals, customers, or patients across systems.
Without that foundation, AI outputs can become unreliable.
“AI will only be as transformative as the data it’s built on—and in healthcare, identity is that foundation,” said Jon Case, head of product management at Verato.
Case will moderate one of the company’s key sessions at the summit, focused specifically on identity data challenges in healthcare AI deployments.
Healthcare AI Roundtable Tackles Identity Fragmentation
On March 9, Verato will host a roundtable titled “Identity Intelligence as the Foundation for Effective Healthcare AI.”
The peer-driven discussion will explore how healthcare organizations can overcome fragmented identity records that often exist across electronic health records, insurance systems, patient portals, and analytics platforms.
Participants will examine strategies for:
- Unifying patient identity data across systems
- Optimizing healthcare technology stacks
- Supporting scalable AI deployments in clinical and operational settings
Healthcare organizations face particularly complex identity challenges due to regulatory requirements, privacy constraints, and highly fragmented data ecosystems.
That complexity makes accurate identity resolution essential for applications such as patient analytics, care coordination, and AI-driven clinical insights.
Building an AI-Ready Customer 360 With Snowflake
Later in the conference, Verato will join forces with data cloud provider Snowflake for a technical session focused on enterprise identity management.
In the presentation “Building AI-Ready Customer 360 in Snowflake with Trusted Identity,” Case will be joined by Ted Readyhough, senior engineer at Snowflake.
The session will demonstrate how enterprises can resolve identity data directly within the Snowflake platform to create a unified Customer 360 view—a comprehensive, integrated profile of customers across systems.
A reliable Customer 360 model has become a core data strategy for companies deploying AI-powered personalization, analytics, and automation.
“AI and advanced analytics depend on trusted, well-governed data,” Readyhough said. “By resolving identity directly within Snowflake, organizations can build a reliable Customer 360 foundation that improves interoperability and accelerates AI initiatives.”
Demonstrating Verato MDM Cloud
Throughout the summit, Verato will showcase its Verato MDM Cloud, a master data management platform designed to unify identity records across enterprise data environments.
The platform aims to resolve identity discrepancies across systems while maintaining compliance with privacy and governance requirements.
Use cases span several industries, including:
- Healthcare patient identity management
- Financial services customer data platforms
- Retail and consumer Customer 360 initiatives
- Enterprise analytics and AI pipelines
By linking identity records across datasets, organizations can improve data quality for analytics and ensure AI models operate on consistent and trusted information.
Why Identity Intelligence Is Gaining Attention
As enterprises scale AI deployments, data governance and trust have emerged as critical challenges.
Large organizations often maintain dozens—or even hundreds—of disconnected systems that store customer, patient, or user information.
When those records don’t align, AI tools may generate flawed insights or automate decisions using inaccurate data.
Identity intelligence platforms attempt to solve that problem by linking records across systems and creating a reliable “single source of truth.”
The approach has become particularly relevant as companies pursue enterprise-wide AI strategies and unified customer data architectures.
A Key Stage for Data and AI Leaders
The Gartner Data & Analytics Summit is one of the industry’s largest gatherings for data, analytics, and AI professionals.
The annual event typically attracts thousands of technology leaders, data scientists, and enterprise architects seeking guidance on topics such as:
- Data governance and architecture
- AI deployment strategies
- Analytics platforms and tools
- Enterprise data modernization
For companies like Verato, the summit provides a high-profile platform to highlight how foundational data management challenges—especially identity resolution—are becoming critical to successful AI adoption.
Attendees can see Verato’s platform in action at Booth #1034, where the company will also run a community-focused toy donation initiative supporting local organizations.
