LG Electronics took the stage at LG World Premiere 2026, its annual pre-CES event in Las Vegas, to highlight its vision of “AI in Action”—moving intelligence beyond conversation to orchestrate devices, spaces, and services that make everyday life more intuitive, efficient, and comfortable.

LG’s CEO Lyu Jae-cheol outlined a strategy built on three pillars:

The company demonstrated how its AI now actively manages daily routines, setting the stage for the Zero Labor Home, where intelligent devices operate as a single, orchestrated system to save users time and reduce mental and physical effort.
At the heart of this vision is LG CLOiD, a home-specialized robot with two arms and five-fingered hands that can learn household environments, optimize tasks, and safely operate around children or pets. Demonstrations showed CLOiD proactively adjusting appliances, managing laundry, and suggesting alternate activities based on user habits and environmental cues.
AI-Powered Appliances and Display Innovation
LG also highlighted industry-leading appliances and displays:
- LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV: 9mm-thin design with wireless technology, Hype Radiant Color for perfect blacks and enhanced brightness.
- LG SIGNATURE Refrigerator: Conversational AI provides tailored recommendations and ingredient-based recipe suggestions.
- LG SIGNATURE Oven Range: Gourmet AI identifies ingredients and guides cooking with over 80 curated recipes.
These innovations showcase LG’s strategy of embedding AI directly into devices to provide context-aware, actionable intelligence rather than passive insights.
Beyond the Home: Vehicles and Commercial Spaces
LG emphasized that its AI ecosystem extends beyond homes to vehicles and commercial environments. Key initiatives include:
- AI-Powered In-Vehicle Solutions: On-device multimodal AI delivers gaze tracking, adaptive displays, and home-to-vehicle entertainment for personalized experiences.
- HVAC for the AI Era: Intelligent solutions optimize energy efficiency for data centers and commercial buildings, with B2G projects in the Middle East and partnerships with companies like GRC and Flex.
By integrating intelligence across multiple spaces, LG is aiming to orchestrate everyday life seamlessly, reflecting its Life’s Good brand promise of technology that quietly supports people in meaningful ways.
