Globant (NYSE: GLOB) has unveiled version 2.3 of Globant Enterprise AI (GEAI), its proprietary AI platform, now equipped with Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) to enable AI agents with transactional capabilities—hours after OpenAI announced the same protocol. This release follows earlier integrations of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication, reinforcing GEAI’s interoperability and scalability in enterprise environments.

From Conversations to Transactions

ACP, the open standard behind OpenAI’s “Instant Checkout,” allows AI agents, users, and businesses to collaborate on completing purchases directly through conversational interfaces. The protocol leverages existing payment systems and fulfillment workflows, offering a secure, enterprise-ready framework for AI-driven transactions.

“Being at the forefront of AI integration in business, with version 2.3 we are introducing transactional capabilities to AI agents,” said Martín Migoya, Co-founder and CEO of Globant. “We are eager to pilot this feature with our clients and expand AI-driven commerce across industries.”

Key GEAI 2.3 Features

  • Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP): Enables secure AI-powered transactions across multiple platforms.
  • Seamless Integration: Combines MCP and A2A communication to connect AI agents across heterogeneous enterprise ecosystems.
  • Conversational Agent Deployment: Clients can create and configure AI agents capable of transactions through a simple conversational interface.

Gastón Milano, CTO of Globant Enterprise AI, added: “With version 2.3, our clients can explore AI agents capable of executing transactions securely and at scale, turning conversational AI into operational AI with real business impact.”

Proven Enterprise Impact

Organizations using GEAI have already reported measurable efficiency gains:

  • 80% reduction in legacy system modernization times.
  • 50% reduction in software development costs.

These metrics highlight GEAI’s ability to accelerate enterprise transformation, enhance operational efficiency, and enable businesses to respond swiftly to evolving market demands.

GEAI 2.3 will be available by invitation in the coming days, with a waitlist now open for enterprises seeking early access.
