Accelerating Cloud Migration with Atlassian and AWS
Atlassian’s Data Center business, which generates over $1 billion in annual revenue, will undergo a significant shift towards Atlassian Cloud powered by AWS. This transformation gives users access to cutting-edge cloud services backed by world-class security, privacy, and compliance standards. Atlassian’s robust cloud platform is already trusted by over 300,000 customers worldwide, helping them foster collaboration, improve decision-making, and streamline workflows.
Notable enterprise customers including Air France-KLM, AustralianSuper, Sun Life, and the UK’s Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency have already benefited from this cloud migration.
Cloud Center of Excellence to Streamline Migration
To support the scale of the migration, Atlassian and AWS will create a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). The CCoE will help accelerate the migration process for large enterprises, reducing migration time by up to 50%. This initiative also includes specialized solution providers who will help resell Atlassian Cloud offerings and facilitate cloud migrations for millions of users.

Enhanced Developer Support through Forge and AWS
The partnership will also allow developers to leverage AWS services when building applications with Atlassian Forge, Atlassian’s cloud development platform. The collaboration will explore integrating generative AI technologies like Amazon Bedrock into Forge to support app development and provide better solutions for end-users. The SCA will also enable the migration of Atlassian Connect applications to Atlassian Forge.
