At CES 2026, Realbotix Corp. gave attendees a glimpse of the future of humanoid robotics: two AI-powered robots holding a completely unscripted, autonomous conversation for over two hours.
The demonstration featured Aria and David, Realbotix’s flagship humanoid robots, interacting with each other using the company’s proprietary AI software and advanced language models—running entirely on-device. The robots seamlessly switched between English, Spanish, French, and German, showcasing the platform’s multilingual capabilities and improvisational flexibility.
“Seeing Aria and David knowingly converse directly with one another in multiple languages … reinforces the strength of our technology and our leadership in embodied AI,” said Andrew Kiguel, CEO of Realbotix.
Physical AI in Action
Unlike traditional scripted demos, this conversation was fully autonomous. The robots weren’t following pre-written lines—they were generating dialogue in real time, responding to each other naturally. This represents a significant milestone in embodied AI, demonstrating that robots can now improvise in ways that mimic human interaction.
In addition to the conversation, Realbotix showcased its vision system through a third humanoid robot. Using patented cameras embedded in the robot’s eyes, it could recognize individuals, interpret facial and vocal cues, track movement, and interact conversationally with attendees. The demonstration highlighted the integration of visual perception and AI-driven behavior in real-time, enabling robots to engage naturally in social settings.
Why This Matters
The CES 2026 showcase marks one of the first public demonstrations of two fully autonomous humanoid robots engaging in a multi-hour, unscripted conversation. While AI chatbots have become increasingly sophisticated, embedding that intelligence into physical humanoid robots that can perceive, respond, and converse in the real world is far more complex.
For industries like robotics, entertainment, elder care, and customer interaction, this is a tangible step toward robots that can operate autonomously in social and professional environments. It also positions Realbotix as a leader in interactive, embodied AI, where cognition and perception are integrated into a physical platform.
Realbotix at CES: A Global Stage
CES provided a high-profile stage for Realbotix to demonstrate the convergence of AI, robotics, and human-robot interaction. Attendees—including investors, media, and technology leaders—witnessed not just conversational capabilities, but real-time perception, emotional recognition, and multi-language fluency, underscoring the company’s advances in next-generation robotics.
As autonomous humanoid robots move from research labs to real-world deployment, Realbotix’s CES demonstration suggests that unscripted, intelligent interaction is now feasible, marking a milestone in the evolution of embodied AI.
