Cyberhaven is adding serious firepower to its leadership team. The AI-powered data security company has appointed Aman Sirohi as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), tapping a veteran with more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and data protection.
Sirohi’s resume spans leadership roles at People.ai, Guidewire, and Ross Stores, where he built security programs, embraced emerging technologies, and consistently delivered measurable improvements in safeguarding enterprise systems. His arrival comes at a pivotal time for Cyberhaven, which is pushing hard to redefine data security for the AI era.
Why This Hire Matters
Cyberhaven has been making waves with its AI-first, end-to-end data security platform, a system that traces and protects sensitive information everywhere it lives and moves—endpoint to cloud, at rest or in motion. The company recently rolled out new features, including:
- Data Catalog for endpoint-to-cloud visibility
- AI-powered Data Classification for accurate data labeling
- Cloud Connectors extending lineage across SaaS apps
- Endpoint Data-at-Rest Scanning for proactive data loss protection
It’s an ambitious roadmap, and Sirohi’s job will be to ensure these innovations keep pace with both enterprise adoption and AI-driven threats.
“As Cyberhaven deepens its AI capabilities and multi-modal data lineage features, we are excited to add a trusted, people-first leader like Aman,” said Nishant Doshi, CEO of Cyberhaven. “His professional background and vision have already made an impact as we tackle critical AI security challenges unfolding in real time.”
The Bigger Picture: Securing AI Transformation
Enterprises are racing to embrace generative AI, but the security risks are mounting. Sensitive corporate data often slips into models, regulatory environments are tightening, and insider threats remain stubbornly persistent. Vendors like Cyberhaven are positioning themselves as the bridge between AI adoption and data protection, offering tools that give companies both visibility and control.
For Sirohi, the mission is clear. “This is a game-changer for organizations navigating this transformative moment in technology,” he said. “I’m committed to helping Cyberhaven deliver even greater value to customers and enabling them to innovate securely.”
Beyond the Office
Sirohi, who holds a degree in Computer Engineering and published a cybersecurity thesis at Santa Clara University, is also known for mentoring peers, students, and startups in the security community. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, and pursuing his “endless” love of golf.
With AI security quickly becoming one of the hottest battlegrounds in enterprise IT, Cyberhaven’s latest leadership move signals its intent to stay ahead of the curve—and make sure its customers do, too.
