Dreame Technology didn’t come to CES 2026 just to launch another robot vacuum. It came to redraw its identity.
At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the company—best known globally for its high-end robotic cleaners—unveiled its most ambitious move yet: an AI-powered Whole-home Smart Ecosystem that stretches far beyond cleaning and into nearly every corner of modern living. It’s Dreame’s clearest signal that it wants to compete not just with appliance brands, but with full-stack smart home ecosystems from companies like Samsung, LG, and Xiaomi.
The message was unmistakable. Dreame is no longer a single-category innovator. It’s positioning itself as a connected lifestyle platform, built around AI, automation, and interoperability across the home, garden, outdoors, and even personal care.
From Smart Devices to a Smart Lifestyle Platform
Dreame’s CES 2026 presence—its largest ever, spanning two showcase locations—marked a turning point. The company introduced a unified ecosystem designed to make devices collaborate rather than coexist. Instead of isolated smart gadgets, Dreame is betting on a coordinated network of AI-driven products that anticipate needs, conserve energy, and quietly reclaim time from daily chores.
“We are now utilizing our expertise to bring advanced AI systems to the whole home,” said founder and CEO Yu Hao. “By turning homes into intelligent environments, we are pioneering true smart living through a single joined-up ecosystem.”
That “joined-up” language matters. In a market crowded with smart devices that often feel fragmented, Dreame is promising cohesion—one app, one intelligence layer, and reusable core technologies powering everything from vacuums to air conditioners.
Six Categories, One AI Brain
At the heart of Dreame’s Whole-home Smart Ecosystem is a platform-based approach built on three reusable core technologies: AI algorithms, high-speed motors, and bionic robotic systems. Think of them as the brain, heart, and body of the ecosystem.
Those technologies span six interconnected categories:
- Smart Home: Refrigerators, TVs, washers, air conditioners, and purifiers that automatically adjust conditions based on usage and environment.
- Smart Cleaning: Robot vacuums, wet & dry vacuums, and stick vacuums—still Dreame’s strongest suit.
- Smart Kitchen: Appliances including water purifiers, dishwashers, ovens, and range hoods.
- Smart Personal Care: High-speed hair dryers and styling tools.
- Smart Air Care: Fans, purifiers, and climate solutions built around dynamic airflow and hygiene.
- Outdoor & Mobility Extensions: Including robotic mowers and pool cleaners, hinting at expansion beyond the home’s walls.
All of it is orchestrated through the Dreame app, which serves as a centralized control hub. Users can schedule cleaning, manage climate zones, and fine-tune appliance behavior from a single interface—a clear response to consumer fatigue with juggling multiple smart home apps.
The X60 Ultra: Cleaning Still Leads the Charge
Despite its ecosystem ambitions, Dreame hasn’t abandoned the category that built its reputation. The X60 Ultra robot vacuum, launched globally at CES, is a technical flex.
At just 7.95cm tall, it’s among the thinnest flagship robot vacuums on the market, allowing it to reach under low furniture where rivals often fail. Powered by Dreame’s AI-enhanced OmniSight™ system, the X60 Ultra plans routes up to 200% faster and can recognize and avoid more than 280 types of objects—a growing benchmark as AI vision becomes table stakes in premium robots.
Perhaps most striking are its dual robotic legs, which allow the vacuum to climb double-layer steps up to 8.8cm. That’s a direct shot at one of robotic cleaning’s long-standing limitations: multi-level navigation.
Alongside it, Dreame unveiled the H16 Pro Steam wet & dry vacuum, combining hot water and steam cleaning with a 90°C self-cleaning dock. Its updated TangleCut™ 2.0 system tackles hair buildup—still a major pain point for households with pets or long hair.
Climate Control Gets Robotic
One of the more unexpected launches was the X-Wind Air Conditioner, Dreame’s first foray into robotic climate control. Billed as the world’s first dual robotic air conditioner, it uses robotic air-deflection arms paired with a Coanda-inspired airflow design to deliver up to 126 degrees of wide-angle airflow.
The goal isn’t just cooling—it’s comfort without harsh drafts, an area where traditional air conditioners often fall short. This puts Dreame into direct competition with established HVAC players experimenting with AI-driven airflow optimization.
Smart Kitchen and Personal Care Step Up
Dreame also used CES to push deeper into categories dominated by legacy brands.
The RZ601 Pro gas range, making its global debut, combines a 5.0 cu.ft. true convection oven with burners reaching 22,000 BTU, blending raw power with smart cooking modes like air frying. It’s a notable move for a company historically associated with cleaning, signaling confidence in its appliance engineering.
On the personal care side, the Aero Straight Series Air Straightener Hair Dryer stood out for its technical ambition. Powered by a 110,000 RPM motor delivering airflow up to 50 m/s, it dries and straightens hair simultaneously—reducing reliance on extreme heat. An NTC thermistor monitors temperature 200 times per second, while triple hair-care protectants aim to minimize damage and boost shine.
It’s a play straight at Dyson’s premium hair care lineup—and one Dreame appears increasingly comfortable making.
Smart Air Care Focuses on Health and Pets
Air care was another major focus, highlighted by the FP10 Furcatch Air Purifier, a CES Innovation Awards® 2026 Honoree. Designed with pet owners in mind, it uses Frost & Sullivan–certified Dynamic Cleaning Technology powered by Dreame’s proprietary Dongkun self-cleaning system to reduce maintenance and improve hygiene.
Dreame also teased two certified world-firsts: an intelligent dual-airflow purification system for large spaces and an AI-powered dynamic tracking feature that directs clean air toward occupied zones—underscoring a shift from passive purification to responsive environmental control.
Aiming Beyond Connectivity
What separates Dreame’s pitch from many CES smart home demos is its emphasis on interoperability with purpose. Rather than highlighting connectivity for its own sake, the company framed its ecosystem around outcomes: time saved, energy conserved, and wellbeing improved.
That framing resonated with industry observers. One CES attendee noted that Dreame showcased “a genuinely practical vision for whole-home intelligence,” while another described it as “a complete, future-ready home solution with impressive market potential.”
Awards Validate the Strategy
Industry recognition followed quickly. Dreame walked away from CES 2026 with over 50 awards, including multiple CES Innovation Awards and Best of CES honors from outlets like Android Authority, TechRadar, Yanko Design, and Wearable.
Standouts included the X60 robot vacuum series, the FP10 Furcatch Air Purifier, and even a surprise AI Ring, hinting that Dreame’s ambitions may extend into wearables and personal health.
The Bigger Picture
Dreame’s CES 2026 debut reflects a broader industry shift. As AI becomes embedded across consumer electronics, differentiation is moving from individual device specs to ecosystem intelligence. Companies that can reuse AI, motors, and robotics across categories gain speed—and margin—advantages.
The challenge, of course, is execution. Building a coherent ecosystem is far harder than launching great standalone products. But if CES 2026 is any indication, Dreame is serious about making that leap.
For a brand that started with cleaning robots, that’s a bold—and potentially disruptive—next chapter.
