Thoughtworks, the global technology consultancy specializing in design, engineering, and AI-driven digital innovation, has announced the appointment of Rav Hayer to a dual leadership role: Managing Director for UK & Ireland and Head of Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) for Europe. Rav will spearhead Thoughtworks’ strategic growth and market expansion in the UK and Ireland, while simultaneously leading the firm’s European BFSI practice to help financial institutions navigate complex digital transformations fueled by AI, cloud computing, and data technologies.

Rav brings over 25 years of experience in financial services technology, business strategy, and large-scale digital transformations. Formerly Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal, he led significant programs for European financial clients. He holds an MBA and is a qualified accountant, known for his leadership and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
