Xsight Labs, a leading fabless semiconductor company specializing in connectivity for hyperscale, edge, and AI data center networks, today announced the availability of its Arm®-based E1-SoC for cloud and edge AI data centers. The E-Series is the industry’s first to offer full control plane and data path programmability combined with unmatched performance, making it the highest performing software-defined Data Processing Unit (DPU) available. Orders are now open for both the E1-SoC and the E1-Server, the first commercially available 800G DPU solution.
Revolutionary Programmable DPU Built on Advanced 5nm Technology
The E1-SoC is the flagship product of Xsight Labs’ E-Series, a family of fully programmable network accelerator processors designed for Software Defined Network (SDN) infrastructure. Fabricated on TSMC’s cutting-edge 5nm process, the E1-SoC delivers industry-leading performance and flexibility, and is poised to ship soon to customers and ecosystem partners.

E1-Server: A High-Performance Edge Server and Development Platform
Complementing the E1-SoC, the E1-Server is a single-unit edge server system that doubles as a comprehensive product development platform. It enables engineering teams to prototype and proof concepts quickly, or deploy immediately as a high-performance standalone edge server.
The E1-Server ships complete with software tools and applications designed for diverse workloads such as edge computing, public cloud, wireless infrastructure, AI factory networking, content delivery, and secure enterprise networking.
Designed for Versatile Use Cases and Scalable Solutions
The E1-SoC is optimized for a variety of applications, including compute, networking, security, storage, smart switches, and air-cooled edge inference accelerators, housed in a compact PCIe® form factor. The E1-Server supports OEM, ODM, and CSP developers in building custom solutions and can be scaled using Xsight Labs’ programmable X-Series Ultra Ethernet switching products.
Together, the E1 and X2 chips enable smart switch solutions and all-layer (OSI L1 to L7) SDN systems, with 100% 112G SerDes connectivity, delivering unmatched processing and networking density per rack unit.
