Solver, the cloud-based extended financial planning and analysis (xFP&A) software provider, revealed its AI-first initiative at ASCEND 2025, the company’s annual customer conference held August 11–14 in Huntington Beach, California. Central to the initiative is Solver Copilot, a suite of intelligent AI agents designed to help stakeholders make faster, more informed financial decisions.
Already live, the Help Agent functions as an intelligent, always-available guide trained on Solver documentation and training content. It continuously learns from new materials to assist users in real time.
What’s Coming Next
Solver plans to introduce three additional AI agents:
- Planning Agent: Generates forecasts and budgets using historical trends and organizational context, improving forecasting accuracy.
- Analysis Agent: Provides proactive, contextual insights, identifies anomalies, and offers predictive recommendations for better decision-making.
- Task Agent: Automates repetitive workflows, anticipates user needs, and boosts productivity by orchestrating frequently performed tasks.
“With every new feature or enhancement, we ask, ‘How can AI solve this better, faster, or more intelligently?’” said Mike Applegate, CTO of Solver. “These agents serve as proactive assistants in the Solver experience, learning from behavior, improving over time, and enabling users to make accelerated, intelligent decisions with confidence.”
Benefits Across Industries
Solver Copilot Agents are designed to support organizations across construction, nonprofit, SaaS, senior living, and more. Key benefits include:
- Improved Accuracy: The Planning Agent enhances forecasting and budgeting precision.
- Better Decision-Making: The Analysis Agent identifies trends, anomalies, and predictive insights.

Solver’s platform connects with virtually any data source—including ERP systems like Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Sage—ensuring consolidated, AI-powered insights for planning and reporting.
“Solver Copilot brings together client data with AI agents, empowering organizations to supercharge their xFP&A experience with faster insights, intelligent decisions, and greater agility,” said Nils Rasmussen, CEO of Solver.
By evaluating every feature through an AI lens, Solver has shifted its mission from “Accelerate Better Decisions” to “Accelerate Intelligent Decisions,” reflecting the company’s commitment to applying AI to deliver measurable customer value.
