In a bold move to redefine how enterprises manage complexity in global trade and logistics, ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) — the AI platform for business transformation — and FedEx Dataworks, the intelligence and data arm of FedEx Corp., announced an expanded strategic collaboration to build the AI-powered supply chains of the future.
By combining FedEx Dataworks’ economic and supply chain network intelligence with the ServiceNow AI Platform’s automation and workflow capabilities, the two companies aim to transform how businesses anticipate disruption, optimize networks, and make smarter, faster sourcing decisions.
Turning Complexity Into Competitive Advantage
The partnership’s first phase focuses on integrating FedEx Dataworks intelligence — including shipment data, route performance, and disruptive event tracking — with ServiceNow Source-to-Pay Operations.
This real-time data fusion will empower organizations to:
- Identify supplier shortfalls earlier
- Improve confidence in supply chain continuity
- Reduce costs associated with delays and inefficiencies
- Accelerate data-driven procurement decisions
“In a world defined by constant disruption, agility isn’t just a competitive advantage — it’s how businesses grow and thrive,” said Paul Fipps, President of Global Customer Operations at ServiceNow. “Together with ServiceNow’s single system of intelligent action, we’re pushing the boundaries of AI to help customers turn real-time insight into action.”
Building Intelligent, Resilient, AI-Native Supply Chains
At the heart of the expanded collaboration is a long-term commitment to co-develop end-to-end supply chain workflows — unifying planning, procurement, logistics, and network optimization into a single intelligent platform.
The partnership will also introduce agentic and AI-native capabilities, enabling systems to act autonomously within supply chain operations — a next step toward predictive and adaptive logistics networks.
“Supply chains are the heartbeat of global commerce,” said Vishal Talwar, EVP, Chief Digital and Information Officer at FedEx Corp., and President of FedEx Dataworks. “By combining FedEx Dataworks’ network intelligence with the ServiceNow AI Platform, we’re giving that heartbeat superpowers — empowering enterprises to move with precision and agility that simply wasn’t possible before.”
A Multi-Year Innovation Agenda
As part of their long-term initiative, ServiceNow and FedEx Dataworks will establish joint innovation hubs, platform integrations, and shared engineering resources to accelerate the development of next-generation AI supply chain solutions.
The first capabilities are expected to debut in Q1 2026, starting with the Source-to-Pay Operations suite, followed by broader platform integrations in subsequent phases.
This collaboration marks a major milestone in the evolution of intelligent, adaptive, and resilient supply chain ecosystems, where AI, data, and automation work together to turn uncertainty into opportunity — and logistics into a source of competitive advantage.
