Housecall Pro, the software platform trusted by home service contractors, has launched a sweeping Fall 2025 update that packs automation, AI-powered insights, and new integrations to help service professionals finish the year strong and enter 2026 with momentum.
This latest release was shaped by feedback from thousands of users—plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other home service “Pros”—who rely on Housecall Pro to manage jobs, communicate with customers, and grow their businesses.
Turning AI Into a Real Job-Site Ally
The centerpiece of the release is a trio of AI Team updates designed to make business management faster, smarter, and less hands-on:
- CSR AI (“Tell me more”) instantly surfaces a customer’s job history, outstanding balances, and suggested next steps—helping staff respond faster and more accurately.
- Marketing AI (“Write it for me”) automatically generates professional copy for invoices, estimates, and line items, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Analyst AI answers complex business questions on demand, from filtered customer lists to invoice summaries and operational overviews.
“These tools don’t just sound smart—they work smart,” said Roland Ligtenberg, Housecall Pro’s co-founder and SVP of Innovation. “We built this release to remove friction from every part of the job so Pros can close the year strong and step into 2026 ready to scale.”
Built for the Real Workday
Beyond AI, the update introduces powerful features aimed at boosting efficiency and profitability:
- Bluon Integration: HVAC techs can now scan unit nameplates or model numbers to instantly retrieve specs, OEM part numbers, and replacements from Bluon’s 20-million-model database, spanning over 200 brands. With Bluon’s MasterMechanic AI, field techs can diagnose and fix issues faster—right from their mobile devices.
- Postcards: A new direct-mail tool lets Pros target campaigns by ZIP code or demographic segments, bridging digital and physical marketing for local lead generation.
- Global Chat: A unified inbox centralizes all communications—customer messages, employee chats, and AI Team interactions—reducing missed responses and improving team coordination.
From Feedback to Field Results
Ligtenberg noted that the release is less about “flashy features” and more about real-world utility. “Our Pros asked for smarter marketing, deeper automation, and tighter operational control,” he said. “We delivered features they can use to actually grow their business while staying efficient during peak demand.”
The Bigger Picture: AI for the Trades
While generative AI has flooded industries from marketing to finance, Housecall Pro’s approach is distinctly blue-collar AI—built for contractors who spend more time in crawl spaces than in dashboards. By turning data and automation into accessible, mobile-friendly tools, Housecall Pro continues to blur the line between tech platform and digital business partner.
With this update, the company is signaling a clear direction: AI that works where the work happens.
