e& UAE, the telecom arm of global technology group e&, is teaming up with cloud-native network software provider Mavenir to deploy an AI-powered, containerized spam, scam, and fraud protection solution across its voice network. The initiative leverages Mavenir’s CallShield platform, enhancing subscriber security while enabling fast updates, scalable capacity, and consistent service delivery across environments.
AI at the Core of Voice Security
CallShield applies real-time AI and machine learning to detect anomalies and block threats such as robocalls, caller ID spoofing, and Wangiri “one-ring-and-cut” scams. By analyzing call profiles, patterns, and sentiment, the platform intercepts malicious activity before it reaches end users, protecting both consumers and businesses from nuisance communication and financial loss.
