Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) has announced the launch of its India Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab and a new Cognizant Moment™ Studio in Bengaluru, forming a dedicated innovation hub designed to accelerate the company’s AI builder strategy. Both facilities are part of Cognizant’s previously announced $1 billion generative AI investment over the next three years.
The India AI Lab builds on Cognizant’s San Francisco AI Lab, which recently earned its 61st U.S. patent, while the Cognizant Moment™ Studio supports the company’s digital experience practice, helping clients leverage AI to reimagine customer experience and drive business growth. Together, the lab and studio will focus on multi-agent systems, AI decisioning, responsible AI, and AI-for-good initiatives.

Driving Enterprise AI Innovation
The India AI Lab will bring together PhD-level scientists and AI engineers to advance applied research in multi-agent AI, decisioning systems, and responsible AI. The lab will also strengthen Cognizant’s IP portfolio and platform innovation through proprietary frameworks, reusable AI components, and experiential platforms designed to set new industry benchmarks.
