Cengage Work, the workforce skills training division of Cengage Group, today announced an expanded partnership with LinkedIn Learning through its cybersecurity education provider, Infosec Institute. The collaboration will deliver trusted cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI) training to millions of professionals, helping close critical global skills gaps as organizations accelerate digital transformation.
More than 10,000 professionals have already enrolled in Infosec courses on LinkedIn Learning. The expanded partnership will now offer over 20 specialized cybersecurity and AI courses, with dozens more planned throughout 2025 — from rapid one-hour skill modules to comprehensive 25-hour deep dives.
“As technology reshapes how we live and work, Cengage Work is committed to giving every learner access to the skills that matter most,” said Justin Singh, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Cengage Work. “Employers need talent skilled in both cybersecurity and AI, and workers are eager to build those capabilities. This partnership bridges that gap by making high-quality, flexible training accessible through LinkedIn Learning.”
Closing the AI Skills Gap
According to Cengage Group’s 2025 Graduate Employability Report, just 51% of recent graduates believe they have sufficient AI skills for the roles they pursue — underscoring the need for practical, job-aligned training.
Infosec’s courses span a range of in-demand topics, including:
- AI and machine learning security
- Security architecture and risk management
- Advanced technical defense
- Threat intelligence and incident response
“Infosec’s training is helping close this gap — with over 10,000 learners joining in just three months,” said Keatron Evans, Head of Product and Strategy at Infosec. “Organizations need immediate access to practical AI and cybersecurity education, and our partnership with LinkedIn Learning meets professionals where they already work.”
Expanding AI Literacy Across Industries
Beyond its LinkedIn Learning expansion, Cengage Work is investing in AI literacy and readiness initiatives across its portfolio.
Infosec has launched hands-on AI-focused boot camps, including Advanced AI Security Management, AI for Cybersecurity Professionals, and Certified Penetration Testing Professional. These programs equip both business leaders and technical specialists to implement and secure AI responsibly.
Meanwhile, ed2go, another Cengage Work business, is embedding AI readiness into training programs across healthcare, business, and professional services. New offerings — such as Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and AI for Business: ChatGPT & Copilot — help learners understand how to apply AI tools effectively in their day-to-day work.
“AI is reshaping every sector, and our goal is to make sure every professional has access to the knowledge they need to use it responsibly,” Singh added.
By combining Cengage Work’s industry-aligned curriculum, Infosec’s cybersecurity expertise, and LinkedIn Learning’s global reach, the initiative delivers scalable, job-ready training that prepares workers — and employers — to thrive in the AI-powered economy.
