Aditude is making a big move in the crowded ad tech arena: the company has named Anthony Gonsalves its first-ever Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). The hire signals that Aditude is gearing up for a new phase of expansion as publishers push for more control over how their inventory is managed and monetized.
Gonsalves, who joins from JWP Connatix where he was SVP of Global Business Development, has more than two decades of experience in digital media and revenue strategy. His resume includes stints at Outbrain and Swisscom, where he steered teams to major revenue milestones—particularly in video and digital advertising, two sectors that continue to define the competitive edge in publisher monetization.
“Anthony brings exactly the kind of strategic vision and execution expertise we need as we enter our next phase of growth,” said Jared, CEO and founder of Aditude.
Why this hire matters
Ad tech has become a knife fight for market share, especially as Google and Amazon tighten their grip on demand. Independent players like Aditude have carved out relevance by offering publishers transparent, flexible platforms—a counterweight to the “walled garden” model.
By creating a CRO role and hiring a veteran known for strategic partnerships, Aditude is signaling it doesn’t just want to help publishers optimize yield—it wants to scale fast. Gonsalves will oversee sales, partnerships, and marketing, effectively spearheading the company’s revenue playbook.
The bigger picture
Aditude’s platform already offers cloud-based header bidding wrappers, dynamic flooring, and real-time reporting, giving publishers tools to maximize returns without sacrificing visibility. The move to bring in a CRO comes as rivals like Magnite, PubMatic, and OpenX also jostle for publisher loyalty in an environment where margins are under pressure and advertisers demand more accountability.
For Gonsalves, the timing couldn’t be better. Recent industry reports suggest that publishers are shifting spend away from walled gardens toward open, transparent platforms—a trend Aditude has built its brand around. His job will be to capture that momentum and translate it into rapid growth.
“Joining Aditude at this stage is incredibly exciting,” Gonsalves said. “The foundation is strong, but there’s so much untapped opportunity to expand our market position and deliver even more value to publishers and partners.”
