Luminys Systems Corporation, a leader in smart, connected security solutions, is bringing a major technology update to ISC West 2026 with an expanded video security and infrastructure portfolio. At the center of the showcase is LumiAgent, an AI-powered video search capability for Luminys’ LumiCloud and LumiCenter platforms, alongside upgrades across cameras, NVRs, networking, access control, and off-grid solutions.
The announcements reinforce Luminys’ focus on delivering scalable, intelligent, and easy-to-manage security ecosystems for businesses of all sizes.
LumiAgent: AI Meets Video Surveillance
LumiAgent aims to transform how operators interact with recorded video. Leveraging Vision Language Models (VLMs) and Large Language Models (LLMs), LumiAgent enables natural-language search across video archives. Operators can query events in plain English, like: “Find a person wearing a red shirt walking to a car in the parking lot around 4:00 PM yesterday,” and the system delivers relevant clips in seconds.
Beyond search, LumiAgent automatically generates descriptive video summaries. Its Quick Serve (QS) feature analyzes queuing and transaction patterns, giving organizations actionable insights to improve customer experience.
“For decades, video systems have generated enormous amounts of data with limited intelligence layered on top,” said Freddy Kuo, Chairman of Luminys Systems Corporation. “LumiAgent represents a fundamental shift — combining AI, cloud, and edge technologies to turn video into a proactive decision-making tool, empowering organizations to operate smarter, faster, and more efficiently.”
Enhancements Across LumiCloud
Luminys also expanded LumiCloud, its Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) platform. LumiCloud now supports direct-to-cloud cameras, removing the need for an NVR. These cameras come with a one-year HD Unity subscription including AI-based search, event alerts, notifications, and cloud storage, with options to upgrade for 30–180 days of rolling retention.
Integration extends across Luminys’ NVRs, access control, and network switches through “LumiCloud Technology Inside”, while fully off-grid deployments like LumiWatch Solar and LumiGuardian are branded as “Powered by LumiCloud.” LumiWatch Solar features a 120W photovoltaic panel and 960Wh lithium battery, ensuring reliable performance in remote or infrastructure-limited locations.
Adventure: AI-Powered Mobile Monitoring
Luminys will also demonstrate Adventure, a quadruped robot designed for mobile monitoring in complex environments. The updated model offers three-hour battery life, improved obstacle-crossing of up to 25 centimeters, and enhanced mobility for stairs and uneven terrain. Built on ROS 2 architecture, Adventure can operate locally with web and mobile dashboards, keeping sensitive operational data secure within an organization’s environment.
Looking Ahead at ISC West
At The Venetian Expo, Venetian Ballroom D (Level 2), attendees can experience live demos of LumiAgent, Adventure, and the expanded LumiCloud ecosystem, including intelligent cameras, NVRs, cloud services, networking solutions, and access control technologies.
With this rollout, Luminys is positioning itself at the forefront of AI-driven video surveillance, blending cloud intelligence, edge performance, and off-grid flexibility to meet the growing demands of smart security.
